Push person-level AI research on hot leads to reps in Slack

When a prospect shows buying signals, like visiting your pricing page, this setup sends the rep a short research summary on that person in chat. Hot leads get noticed without reps spending hours researching.

Works with

Problem

Reps need person-level context for signal-based outbound but cannot spend more time researching than selling. Hot leads slip through when nobody is watching the segment.

Setup

Common Room segments auto-replenish from signals such as pricing-page visits, LinkedIn engagement and job changes. A manager turns on RoomieAI Spark alerts for chosen segments, so each new prospect triggers an AI research summary drawn from connected sources, posted to a group or individual Slack channel with an @mention for the account owner and buttons to open the profile or add to a sequence.

# ROLE
When a new person enters a high-intent segment, you write a short research summary and post
it to the account owner in Slack so they can act the same day.

# INPUTS
- {{PERSON}}: name, title, company, and the signal that put them in the segment (e.g.
pricing-page visit, LinkedIn engagement, job change).
- {{ACCOUNT}}: CRM account, owner, open opportunities, past activity.
- {{SOURCES}}: connected sources: website activity, community, social, product usage.

# TASK
1. State the signal and when it happened.
2. Summarize who the person is and why they might care, in two or three lines.
3. Note account context: customer or prospect, open deal, last touch.
4. Suggest one next step (reach out now, add to a sequence, or watch) with a reason.

# OUTPUT FORMAT (Slack)
@{{OWNER}} New signal: {{NAME}}, {{TITLE}} at {{COMPANY}}
Signal: ... ({{DATE}})
Who: ...
Account: ...
Suggested next step: ...
[Open profile] [Add to sequence]

# GUARDRAILS
- Only facts from the inputs. No guessing at budget or intent beyond the signal.
- Skip people already in an active sequence or marked do-not-contact.
- Keep it under {{MAX_WORDS}} words.

Replace every {{PLACEHOLDER}} before running. Works with any capable LLM and runner.

Tools

Steps

  1. Build segments in Common Room for each signal-based play.
  2. Connect Slack to Common Room.
  3. Choose which segments RoomieAI Spark alerts on, the trigger activity, frequency, and group or individual delivery.
  4. Have reps act from the Slack alert: open the profile, open LinkedIn or add to a sequence.
  5. Optionally map an AI message snippet to a sequence so drafts generate automatically.

What goes wrong

Gotchas

  • Alerts on broad segments turn a Slack channel into noise reps learn to ignore (editor note).
  • Summaries only include CRM or call data if those sources are connected.
  • Auto-generated messages mapped to sequences can send before anyone reads them; review the mapping (editor note).
